Alliance Discussion with Quinn Ritchie, Legislative Director for Rep. Mike Kelly

July 11 @ 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Clinical trials are essential to making cutting-edge research available to all Americans, but participating in these trials can be a financial burden for participants and their families. Earlier this year, Representatives Mike Kelly (R-PA-16) and Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA-6) introduced H.R. 7418, the Harley Jacobsen Clinical Trial Participant Income Exemption Act. The bipartisan bill would exempt clinical trial payments received by participants from taxes to help make clinical trials more accessible to everyone. Please join us for an alliance discussion with Quinn Ritchie, Legislative Director to Representative Kelly, on July 11th at 1 p.m. E.T. for a conversation on congressional efforts to increase access to clinical trials and the potential impact of this bill.
