Associate Director of Communications and Marketing
Research!America, a nonprofit membership alliance that advocates for science, discovery, and innovation to achieve better health for all, is seeking a versatile, innovative Associate Director of Communications and Marketing to join our Communications team.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and distribute creative email messaging to promote Research!America events and initiatives.
- Manage the implementations of surveys commissioned by Research!America. Management will include working with vendor on fielding of survey and developing graphics and slides to display survey results.
- Manage and oversee web content for the Research!America
- Develop presentations for leadership and provide other corporate communications support.
- As a member of the Communications Team, provide administrative support for routine office operations as well as special projects.
- Other duties as needed.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 5 years of experience with proficiency working with a Microsoft Office and office technologies, Canva, and email marketing platforms such as Charity Engine. Prior experience with email marketing is a must; a strong interest with surveys and science and medical topics is preferred.
Research!America offers a competitive salary (salary range: $78,000 – $90,000, based on experience) and benefits that include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; long- and short-term disability insurance; a 403(b) retirement plan; tuition reimbursement; and parking or Metro benefits. This position offers a hybrid work schedule with 2 days a week in in the office, with other days working remotely. The Research!America office is located just steps from the Metro and VRE in Arlington, VA.
