Rather than barreling toward another potential shutdown when this stopgap measure expires, it is time for members of Congress across the political spectrum to recommit to the security, prosperity, and health of the American people by passing an updated spending plan for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2024. Front and center in that plan, the interests of our nation demand boosted R&D investment to drive medical progress, new businesses and jobs, and global economic leadership.”
